Stuart P. Clary, age 89, died July 17, 2010.





Born in Richmond, VA, July 24, 1920, to James Robert and Janet Clary, he was the youngest of seven sons. He graduated from Case School of Applied Science with a degree in chemical engineering. During WWII, he was a corporal in the U. S. Marine Corps; his service in the Pacific included the battle of Okinawa. Stuart began working for the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in 1946, retiring after 33 years of service.





Predeceased by his six older brothers and their wives, Stuart leaves Rosemary, his beloved wife of 67 years, as well as his children, Stuart, Kathleen (Rick) Lach, and Janet (Steve Kraus); grandchildren Steve (Michelle) Lach and Tony (Emily) Lach, and seven great-grandchildren.





Calling hours will be 4 to 7pm on Wednesday, July 21, at Anthony Funeral Home, KUCKO-ANTHONY-KERTESZ CHAPEL1990 S. Main St., Akron. Mass of Christian burial will be Thursday, July 22, at 10am at the Visitation of Mary Church (formerly Annunciation), 87 Broad St, Akron. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Visitation of Mary Church or to a charity of your choice.
