Nicolo Oriti, 92, passed away Friday, July 2, 2010 at Akron City Hospital.
He was born on October 5, 1917 to Sam and Marianne Oriti in Akron and had been an Akron resident his entire life.
Nick was the owner/operator of the Brown and Waterloo Carryout until 1990. He was a veteran of the Coast Guard during World War II.
Nick is survived by his son, Sam (Sheila) of Akron; daughter, Sally Kilgore of Hudson; sister, Angie Saccone of Chagrin Falls; grandson, Brett Kilgore. In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by his wife, Ann and son-in-law, David Kilgore.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday 11 a.m. at Anthony Funeral Homes Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. (Please note new address). Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
